Accessible Beaches
|
|
Hidden and sometimes hard to find, large
and majestic, the beaches of the Valencian community are without doubt
among the best beaches in Spain. Hundreds of kilometres of Mediterranean coastline to enjoy.
Unforgettable holidays on the beaches of Alicante, Benidorm and
Valencia on the Costa Blanca,
and on the beaches of Castellon on the
Costa Azahar.
|
|
Accessible
areas in beaches in the Valencian Community are provided with a wide
variety of equipments and services in order to allow people with
reduced mobility to use and enjoy the beaches.
|
|
For this purpose, signs, ramps,
special walkways to the seashore, amphibian chairs or a rest area with
sunshades and special furnishings, bathing-huts, WC and showers with
bathing chairs have been installed.

NOTES; Orihuela is a surprising place;
Historical artistic monuments, sixteen kilometres of coastline, six
museums, more than ten thousand palm trees, thirty "pasos
procesionales" (processional sculptures) and a poet. These figures
give a notion of the attractive nature of Orihuela. An area of
long beaches and hidden coves steeped in history. A municipality,
“supueblo y el mío”, that gave form to the first poems of Miguel
Hernández, whhich shaped his memories of the surrounding fertile land.
